What Is Jito Bundles?
Atomic transaction bundles on Solana that protect against MEV frontrunning.
Definition
Jito is a Solana validator client and block engine built around MEV infrastructure. Its bundles let you submit several transactions as one unit: they all land in the same block, or none of them do. Nothing gets wedged in between.
How it works
Group the related transactions, buy then redeem then receive, and send them through Jito's block engine. The bundle is included whole at a chosen position or dropped entirely, which is what kills sandwich attacks.
In Continuum
Arbitrageurs holding the peg use bundles because their trade only works as one piece: buy the underpriced leg on the bin book, redeem at the protocol for oracle value, keep the spread. Send those as separate transactions and a faster bot will step between them and take it.
