What Is Composability?
The ability of DeFi protocols and tokens to work together like building blocks.
Definition
Composability means protocols can interact with each other permissionlessly. Tokens from one protocol can be used in another without integration work. This creates a 'money legos' effect where complex strategies emerge from simple primitives.
How It Works
Standard token interfaces (like SPL on Solana or ERC-20 on Ethereum) allow any protocol to accept any compliant token. A synthetic token minted on one protocol can be used as collateral on another.
In Continuum
Continuum L/S tokens are standard SPL tokens, making them fully composable. Use them as collateral on Kamino, trade on Jupiter, or integrate into any Solana protocol. This composability enables leverage strategies.
